Brad Pitt For Chanel No5 and the Aussie Skincare Invention Getting Global Attention
16th OF October 2012
Brad Pitt fronts the launch of Chanel's iconic fragrance, Chanel No5 in true Hollywood style and SkinDNA, the Aussie anti-aging skincare invention is set to take the world by storm.
"Feminity is timeless" according to Chanel No5, and so apparently is Brad Pitt. One of the most talked about men in Hollywood, Brad brings his rugged charm, soothing vocals and timeless good looks to the new campaign which makes you feel like you're in for a blockbuster film.
Not a brand to shy away from pushing boundaries and daring innovation, Chanel has once again delivered the goods in this campaign using Brad as the first ever male to front a woman's fragrance.
Will other big fragrance brands follow suit? Something tells us this will be unique to Chanel for a while to come. Brad Pitt said of the legendary perfume, "Chanel N°5 has always been the most iconic women's fragrance. The beauty of its success for all these years is both elegantly simple and complex at the same time. That's what I see being the appeal of this campaign; it goes beyond the abstract of emotion or beauty to evoke what is timeless, a woman's spirit"
Floral-aldehydic, Chanel describes the fragrance a bouquet of abstract flowers with an indefinable femininity, suggesting "a drop behind the ear, on the inside of the elbow, or on the pulse point of the wrist."
A simple Aussie invention using a swab test to identify your skin’s DNA in order to create customisable skincare routines/laser treatments programs for your skin is being hailed as the latest holy grail in scientifically combatting premature ageing.
SkinDNA™ is an at-home DNA-based laboratory test which takes the power of our DNA’s unique blueprint to identify the skin’s genetic propensity to five key ageing pathways: Collagen breakdown; Photo aging; Wrinkling; Oxidation; and the skin’s ability to tolerateEnvironmental pollutants.
Co-creator, Stefan Mazy says: “SkinDNA is revolutionizing the way we take care of our skin, this is the future of an industry and the key to combating skin aging before the signs even appear. All this information found inside us buried in our unique DNA blueprint”.
