Pink Hope & Revlon: Together for Bright Pink Lipstick Day
27th OF September 2012
It's time to pucker up for Bright Lipstick Day! We're encouraging all you lipstick lovin' ladies to wear a bright pink lippy as a fun and funky way to raise awareness of genetic breast and ovarian cancer!
Bright Pink Lipstick Day will act as an awareness raising campaign to inspire women to be proactive and vigilant with their breast and ovarian health. Friday 28th September, 2012 – women all over the country will be asked to wear a bright pink Revlon lipstick, such as Revlon Super Lustrous Lipstick in Love That Pink.
Pink Hope is a registered charity, established and founded by Krystal Barter in 2009 whilst recovering from her preventative double mastectomy. Having experienced the isolation and lack of information for high risk families, Krystal created Pink Hope with the goal of providing unique and tangible resources.
Revlon has always taken a global interest in women’s cancer issues through events such as the EIF Run/Walk in NY & LA, but saw a great opportunity to support and sponsor an Australian charity helping Australian women. Barter said, “The Revlon brand is a beautiful fit for Pink Hope. We are all about being positive and inspiriting the community and we are so excited to have Revlon on board as they are passionate about making a difference."
