Fresh faced beauty will always be in vogue. So we asked our celebrity beauty expert, Glenn Nutley, to tell us we can look as radiant as our favourite Friend, Jennifer Aniston.
To achieve Jennifer Aniston’s natural look, the most important aspect is skin... Skin that looks like skin, therefore the preparation is key!
I would start with a good cleanser (I use Mayerling Cream Cleanser). Massage it into the face, being sure to work it into areas where dirt can accumulate like around the nose. The massage itself is also important to stimulate blood flow to the skin and tautness to the muscles.
Then apply a light spray of Evian water and firmly wipe the skin with tissues or a cloth to ensure you take all the dirt and oil with it.
Next, I apply a light layer of YSL’s new Top Secrets Pore Refiner Skincare Brush. I use it in place of a moisturiser in this case as not to add any excess shine. It evens out the skin’s texture, refines the pores and is a great base to work concealer into. Then I use what I call the magic wand, YSL’s Touche Eclat Concealer, under and around the eyes and any areas of the skin that need a little brightening - sometimes a little around the nose and along the cheek bones.
I really like the Napoleon Perdis Pro Palette Concealer to spot cover any other imperfections, working it in with your fingers so you can’t see where the product starts or finishes so that it really looks like skin!
Lightly dab an anti-shine cream like the one from Smashbox on the t-section so that you don’t need to powder. Then add a little lip gloss and mascara... and you’re done!
