What is it?
Olay Professional Pro-X Skin Care is a new advanced anti-ageing treatment system, which trains your skin to perform and feel like it did when you were younger. Designed as a daily skin-care regiment, the products contain a combination of high-tech anti ageing ingredients designed to increase cell turnover and repair the skins moisture barrier- in 28 days.

What makes it different?
Olay Professional Pro-X was developed by the Olay Professional Alliance for Skin Care Intervention- a group of renowned dermatologists and Olay beauty scientists. The products were not only developed using advanced hard-hitting skin science and subjected to a plethora of clinical trials, but unlike other medical-grade skincare- it won’t break the bank. Scientifically speaking…
The products were developed using the science of genomics, which explores how skin-related genes function and respond to ageing and environmental stress at a molecular level. This then lead to mapping the molecular fingerprint of young skin Vs aged skin to identify the most fundamental differences. The Olay Professional Pro-X Starter Protocol kit is the first product to be launched in the Olay Professional Pro-X Range, and includes an Age Protection Lotion with SPF 15, Wrinkle Smoothing Cream and Eye Restoration Complex.

The Age Protection Lotion protects skin from UVA and UVB exposure, and is also packed with Vitamin B3. The lotion was designed to hydrate the skin to reduce wrinkles and fine lines, while decreasing discolouration and improving skin elasticity.

The Wrinkle Smoothing Cream, as the name suggests smoothes skin and fights fine lines and wrinkles.

And lastly, the Eye Restoration Complex contains Vitamin B3 and caffeine, and hydrates and restores the skin around the eyes, while reducing excess fluids- which in turn helps eliminate dark circles and puffiness.

RESCU ROADTEST:
I am a luxury skin care user but was surprised at the value in this Kit and intrigued by the media storm surrounding these products. In testing the Pro-X Kit, I particularly liked the Pro-X Wrinkle Smoothing Cream as it’s very pleasant to use. I liked the texture and it absorbed easily.

After 2 weeks, I did feel my skin felt softer and smoother. Probably this is due to the exfoliation ingredient. I also felt that my skin looked plumper. I also really liked the Eye Restoration Complex. As with the Wrinkle Smoothing Cream, I liked the texture and the felt the skin around my eyes was plumped and smoother.
I don’t love products with SPF due to the smell but I understand why it’s important to use an SPF daily to prevent the signs of ageing.
Overall, yes, I would use these products again.
