Skin saviour to leading ladies of stage and screen, Dr Erno Laszlo and his famed product range graced Hollywood's best bathrooms (including Marilyn Monroe's).
The (late) Hungarian dermatologist was quite simply, the go-to guy of the 20th Century. His goal: to help skin function as normally as possible, regardless of it's initial characteristics. Harnessing the cleansing and replenishing powers of water, he devised incredibly effective skincare formulas and pioneered the art of applied science to the art of cosmetology.
His Clocking concept - the relative dryness or oiliness of one's skin is represented by the hours of the day (sounds complex, but it's really not) - remains unrivalled. Even though the dear-departed Doctor is no longer in the lab, his legacy lives on. His original formulas have been enhanced with the help of an impressive posse of dermatologists and leading plastic surgeons.
All of which has propelled Laszlo loud and proud into the 21st Century.
