Odd Or Brilliant: 2D Bags
10th OF October 2012
They're taking the fashion world by storm - one teen at a time - but RESCU's putting it to a vote. Are 2D cartoon bags the next big thing, or a storm in a teacup?
New Fashion Must-Have: 2D Bags
Ever wanted to feel like part of a cartoon?
Even if you haven't, there's now a bag for all cartoon-lovers - and it's grabbing worldwide attention.
JumpFromPaper's clever 2D-style bags look as if they're flat cartoon accessories, while actually being roomy, practical everyday accessories.
It's an optical trick we're still trying to figure out - but we love the originality.
JumpFromPaper is based in Taipei, and the designers, Chay Su and Rika Lin, sell their wares online for incredibly low prices - and insist that there's even room in them for an iPad.
The bags looks as if they can't possibly be real, but they're already being seen among fashion-conscious teenagers and a few very select British fashionistas.
Are you willing to do a little cartoon experimenting with your accessory wardrobe?
