As an expert stylist, from your experience conducting numerous workshops, collaborating with brands to even giving fashion advice on The Morning Show, what are some timeless fashion rules and tips all women should know?

Don't walk out of the house in something you're not quite sure about, you'll be self-conscious and uncomfortable. Dress to impress yourself- not your boyfriend or your mother or your peers. Embrace your inner style and if you don't feel like you can quite put your finger on it, then get someone who can help.

How would you describe your personal style?

My personal style is ever changing depending on how I feel each day or what I have on work-wise. Casual, smart, a little big 'out there' sometimes, thrown together. I love leather and fur and always wear denim - in every size and shape. I have my special luxury pieces and mix those in with high street items so I can wear them during the day, not just for special occasions. I tend to go for bold and strong accessories over anything pretty or delicate. Then I mix it all in together. Low fuss, classic but modern - with an edge.

Latest fashion trend you find yourself obsessed with?

Sneakers, I'm embracing them all! High tops, wedges, flats. For me it's all about comfort, the fashion element is a bonus.

What’s one thing you’ve worn to death lately?

My Bassike denim lo-slung jeans - till death do we part!

What are the key trends we should be looking out for this summer?

White on white ensembles, clashing prints, florals, metallics, minimal, sport luxe, sculptured, structured pieces and monochrome.

In your line of work you tend to travel a lot, do you have any crucial fashion essentials you always pack in your hand luggage?

About 4 years ago I bought a big long black knit jacket, it's almost like a cape from Camilla and Marc. Without fail I travel with this on a long hall flights. It's like my own blanket and I can pull the hood over to make it dark so I can sleep. YSL touché elcat has also become a firm friend in times of need. Cleansing wipes, toothbrush and toothpaste and a fresh change of clothes to change into after a long haul flight. (God forbid if they lose my luggage!)

What inspired you the most during the recent international fashion weeks? Anything you’re now eager to take to the streets?

In the shows there was a lot of reference to past collections - the 60's and 70's which I loved. Heritage should always be celebrated and I loved the modern take on those pieces. I thought Mulberry and Burberry did this really well. Did you see those Burberry metallic trenches! Amazing. In terms of taking it to the streets, a mix and match of it all in a practical way.
