After a month long showcase of the freshest fashion from around the world, the Spring 2013 international fashion weeks have finally come to an end.

Rescu brings you our fashion forecast of the top 5 trends across the board from New York, London, Milan and Paris.

1. White on White

Nothing screams spring fresh like crisp white on white.

So it’s not surprising that a flood of all-white looks were flaunted at most runway shows over the last month.

2. Seeing Stripes

Vertical, horizontal, diagonal, thin, thick - whichever way! Stripes were plastered all over the international runways.

It looks like we’ll be seeing stripes everywhere in no time with the trend set to be one of the biggest looks come Spring 2013.

3. Mid Drifts and Bra Tops

Brace yourselves! Mid drifts and bra tops are popping up everywhere, giving off a strong summer holiday vibe.

So prepare to bare some extra skin this coming season!

4. Serious Sheer

Sheer detailing is a stand out trend for Spring 2013 with designers taking this soft sweeping style and applying it to a more tailored and structured approach.

Sheer panels in dresses, shirts, skirts and pants were a popular take on the runways.

5. Monochrome

This season it was all about mixing colourful prints, which we’ve found quite risky to pull off correctly.

But now we can breathe a sigh of relief with the mixes for next season narrowed down to just two shades – black and white.

With slick black and white smart separates dominating the runways from graphic checks at Louis Vuitton to softer florals at Isabel Marant, heading back to the classics is what next spring is all about.
