Jennifer Lawrence new face of Miss Dior plus Ladurée releases limited edition Lanvin macaron box set!
13th OF October 2012
The Hunger Games starlet Jennifer Lawrence has scored the fashionable position as the new face of Miss Dior.
The stunning 22-year-old will appear in ad campaigns representing Miss Dior handbags for the Spring/Summer 2013 collection.
Lawrence has been linked to Dior for a while now having attended Dior’s Haute Couture show back in July, which marked Raf Simons’ debut as the designer for the luxury brand following the John Galliano scandal.
She also donned a Dior gown at this year's Toronto International Film Festival.
This will be Jennifer’s first endorsement for a luxury brand and the actress has said in the official press release: “It’s such a dream to represent an iconic brand that is synonymous with high fashion,”
“I’m so excited to be working with the fashion house and wear the new creations by Raf Simons…” she added.
The Dior designer then shared his reasons for choosing Lawrence to face the new handbag collection: “Her youth and her classic beauty, but also the feminine strength and complexity that she can portray at such a young age are, for me, very unique and very appealing”
Actresses associated with Christian Dior in the past include Mila Kunis, Natalie Portman, Marion Cotillard.
Do you think Jennifer Lawrence is the right fit for Dior?
Sydney-goers get excited, beloved French macaron brand Ladurée has collaborated with high end fashion label Lanvin to bring us this fun-printed limited edition macaron box set.
