St. Mary’s Cathedral Lights of Christmas

Sydney’s Lights of Christmas display at St Mary’s Cathedral showcases leading local choirs in a free performance featuring an incredible projection light show. Families are invited to share in Sydney’s Christmas celebrations with the Australian Girls Choir, Café at the Gates of Salvation, the Endeavour Harmony Chorus and Coro Innominata performing Thursday to Sunday evenings and enjoy the magnificent light show every night until December 25th. The light projections cover the 75m high iconic façade of St Mary’s Cathedral in spectacular artworks, virtual gardens and creatures.

When: December 8th – December 25th 2011

Live Choirs (Thursday – Sunday) 7.30pm – 8.30pm

Christmas Light Show (Every Night) 8.30pm - Midnight

Carols in the Domain

Join the likes of Melinda Schneider, Hugh Sheridan & Georgie Parker for Australia’s largest free Christmas concert. The festivities include food, carnival, pre-show entertainment and a variety of Australian singers and celebrity appearances. Don’t forget to bring your picnic blanket!

Darling Harbour Christmas Fireworks & Carols By The Tree

Watch on with family and friends as Darling Harbour puts on her magnificent fireworks display out on the water. It mighn’t be as big as the NYE celebration but the Or if that’s not your cup of tea, there’s always caroling by the Australiana themed Christmas Tree next to Harbourside Shopping Centre. A great night out for all ages.
