Brad Pitt’s Chanel Ad revealed

Brad Pitt's commercial for classic scent Chanel N°5 has officially been released in its entirety.

The award-winning actor renowned for his Hollywood hunk appeal appears in a new campaign for the iconic fragrance.

Prior to the full length debut Chanel released a series of eight teaser clips of the video. The hype surrounding the clip has been phenomenal with Pitt making history as the first man to endorse the 91-year-old women’s fragrance.

The 48-year-old appears sultry in the footage, wearing a buttoned down shirt and his long hair loose. With the ad shot entirely in black the classic aspect of the fragrance is heightened, with Pitt musing: "The world turns and we turn with it... but wherever I go; there you are."

Yet by hiring Pitt as the new face of the timeless fragrance, Chanel wanted to ensure whilst always a classic, N°5 can still be innovative.

In a statement released by the luxury brand, Pitt explains why he loves the renowned scent and his reasons for facing its new campaign: "What's important to remember about Chanel N°5 is how revolutionary this fragrance is. When it was introduced, it broke all the rules by discarding meaningless ornamentation for an honest and open aesthetic, and a scent which embodies liberation from trend, creating a fragrance which remains as modern today as it was during its inception,"

"Chanel N°5 has always been the most iconic women's fragrance. The beauty of its success for all these years is both elegantly simple and complex at the same time. That's what I see being the appeal of this campaign; it goes beyond the abstract of emotion or beauty to evoke what is timeless, a woman's spirit" he added.
