Earlier this week Dawson was involved in Fox Footy’s Fashion Police show to comment on the fashion worn by the wives and girlfriends of AFL players at the annual AFL Brownlow Medal event.
The show, which also featured designers Alex Perry and Peter Morrissey, immediately copped a wave of criticism via Twitter for being too harsh.
Dawson, who was hospitalised over her suicide attempt caused by cyber bullying attacks in late August, was the main recipient of the complaints.
One tweet said: "Charlotte Dawson sure can dish it out, but taking it is a whole different matter. fashionpolice brownlowmedal."
"Charlotte Dawson did herself no favours tonight. You give it, you cop it. That was the most disgraceful viewing I've ever seen," another tweet read.
Dawson responded to the criticism on Tuesday tweeting: "Never said one negative thing, maybe you were watching another show."
"It was very positive, nobody was harassed, threatened or invited to die."
Since responding, Dawson has now deleted her Twitter account.

X Factor judge Brittney Spears has a colourful new look!
The pop singer has added rainbow extensions recently to her blonde locks as she hit the stage with Ryan Seacrest at the iHeartRadio Music Festival in Vegas.
Perhaps the 30-year-old starlet got her latest hair inspiration from fellow X Factor judge, Demi Lovato, who dyed the tips of her hair pink for the show’s auditions.
What do you think of Spears' multicolored ‘do?
