Highlights from the 2012 BRIT Awards Including Full List of Winners

The 2012 BRIT Awards may have been right in the middle of London Fashion Week, but this didn't stop the who's who of the music world stepping out in style to celebrate the best in British music and beyond. Adele had another successful night both on and off the stage and was surrounded by stars such as Rihanna, Kylie Minogue and the girl everyone's talking about, Lana Del Rey.

Adele, one of the brightest stars in the music industry, who recently won six awards at the 2012 Grammy Awards made another successful night for herself winning two of her three nominations, the British Female honour and Album of the Year. RnB sensation Rihanna was announced as the winner of International Female award, which she is no stranger to having won the same prize last year.

Kyle stunned in a strapless blue gown and Florence Welch of Florence and the machine Florence arrived at the event wearing a floor-length Sarah Burton design.

Lana Del Rey, fresh from the announcement of her Mulberry Bag, managed to beat out Bon Iver, Nicki Minaj, Aloe Blacc, and Foster the People to take home the breakthrough prize. Will.i.am presented the prize and the announcer pronouncing her the "gangster…. Nancy Sinatra,"

Other winners included Brit sensation Ed Sheeran (whose brand of beatboxing/acoustic guitar music hasn't translated to U.S. audiences just yet), Coldplay, and One Direction, who won British Male Solo Artist, British Group, and British Single, respectively. Bruno Mars, Rihanna, and the Foo Fighters won the International Male, Female, and Group awards.
