Jessica Biel to change her name whilst her new husband Justin Timberlake receives backlash for homeless video

“Yes I’m changing my name” Biel told People magazine.

"My professional name will still be the same, but for life, yes, I think it sounds great. I think I really won the jackpot of names."

Excited to start her life with new husband Timberlake, Biel gushes "It's hard to find that one person in the world," adding "Once you find that person, go for it. That kind of commitment is very special."

And it’s clear Timberlake is equally as smitten, having serenaded his bride to be as she walked down the aisle on October 19.

"It was an original piece I wrote specifically for the evening and for her," Timberlake told People about the song.

The couple celebrated what Timberlake describes as their “magical” day alongside 100 close family and friends including Jimmy Fallon, Andy Samberg, Timbaland and Biel’s co-star from 7th Heaven, Beverly Mitchell.

Biel was a vision in pink on the day wearing a Giambattista Valli Haute Couture gown.

Yet although everything seems picture perfect, putting a damper on the newlyweds honeymoon phase is the backlash Timberlake is now experiencing from fans after a private joke video created by his friends for the occasion was leaked, appearing to be insensitive towards the homeless.

According to the Huffington Post, the homemade video involved homeless people sending best wishes to the newlyweds and shown during the festivities.

After fans began flooding Timberlake’s twitter feed expressing their anger towards the singer for the distasteful video, he took to his blog to clear the air and ensure he had no involvement in the creation of the footage.

Timberlake, who describes himself as a "pretty private person” stated on his blog: "I can't fight the urge to clarify my thoughts and feelings on what has been a very upsetting portrayal of the people closest to me and myself. It's not who I am as a professional or as a man."

He then goes on to clarify within his blog ‘letter’, which he Tweeted a link to on Friday, that he had “absolutely ZERO contribution” to the video and that it was “clearly a lapse in judgment” on his friends’ behalf.

Whilst he ensures “It was NOT shown at my wedding” Timberlake ultimately agrees with his fans the video was “distasteful” but ensures “even though that was not its intention”
