What Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio Think of Titanic 3D and Beer to Replace Martinis in New James Bond
9th OF April 2012
Find out if Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio are ready to revisit Titanic, the second biggest grossing movie of all time in 3D and Daniel Craig will be ditching the martinis for a bottle of Heineken in upcoming instalment of James Bond, Skyfall.
It's been fifteen years since a spritely Leonardo DiCaprio and a crimson-haired Kate Winslet brought us the second highest grossing movie of all time in James Cameron's Titanic - but are they ready to revisit the mayhem that made them household names?
"I was literally like, 'Oh my God, make it stop! Is that me? Oh my God, that's me. Block my ears, somebody! Somebody club out my senses." she told USA Today.
"I'm sure I wasn't really a very good actress. Seriously, we are talking about something that happened 15 years ago. It is a very long time ago," she added. "I've learned so much, and I've changed as a person so much since then. It is really quite weird. Can you imagine anything stranger? It's going to be like famous all over again, Titanic all over again!"
Winslet can't wait to relive it with her children Mia, 11, and Joe, 8. "A whole new generation is going to get to experience the film," she said. "It's very exciting that I can actually sit with them — together — and we can all watch it in a movie theatre. That is going to be quite amazing, actually."
RESCU wonders if she'll let them watch the famous nude drawing scene?
Leonardo DiCaprio, on the other hand doesn't seem to want a bar of the film that made him a teenage heart-throb.
"Leo is not one for looking back. He's proud of Titanic but it was 15 years ago," a source close to the actor claims. "He doesn't relish having to go back and promote that movie all over again, especially as it probably won't need it."
The film has been released to coincide with the 100-year anniversary of the original ship setting sail in April 1912.

James Bond fans will be a little shaken upon hearing the news that high profile beer company, Heineken will replace the humble martini in the twenty-third James Bond film, Skyfall.
Heineken USA has cut a multi-million-dollar deal to be the new Bond beverage in the film. Daniel Craig, the current James Bond will also appear in character in a TV commercial for Heineken, and on the side of special packs of beer. The global marketing deal is thought to be around $45 million.
"James Bond is a perfect fit for us. He is the epitome of the man of the world," says Lesya Lysyj, chief marketing manager of Heineken USA.
Daily Mail claims the suddenly lager-loving Bond "has developed a more down-market taste", while many a Bond fan have taken to twitter to express their outrage.
Bond drank Heineken in Goldfinger (1964), and the beer brand also popped up in Casino Royale and Quantum of Solace, but Skyfall will be the first film with a complete drink swap.
Bond has been synonymous with the vodka martini since saying the line "shaken, not stirred" twice in the first 007 film, Dr. No, which starred Sean Connery as the secret agent.
What do you think of the drink swap?
