Lea Michele, the young starlet who plays Rachel Berry on the US hit show Glee, announced she's currently working towards releasing her first solo album.
Letting the world know via her twitter feed, Lea tweeted on Tuesday: "Just had a very exciting music meeting and am proud to announce that im officially on the road to making my first album! I'm so excited!”
Earlier this week, leading cosmetics brand L’Oréal also announced Lea as their newest celebrity ambassador.
At the peak of her thriving successes, the humble star thanked her fans, tweeting: "There's so much to be thankful for right now. Feeling so blessed and thankful. And I couldn't do it without all of you! Love you guys!"
The announcement of Lea’s budding solo music career comes as the fourth season of Glee is underway.
Seems like Katy Perry has found the best therapy for getting over her divorce from Russell Brand - climbing volcanoes.
The ‘Wide Awake’ singer posted this picture of herself on twitter as proof she made it to the top.
Referring to Elizabeth Gilbert's post-divorce memoir 'Eat, Pray, Love', the 27-year-old tweeted: “I ate, I prayed, I climbed a volcano.”
Perry, who is casually dating John Mayer, has been getting in touch with her spiritual side lately.
Earlier this week she also tweeted: “Starting the day with a group meditate #breakfastofchampions”
But while she might be hiking up volcanoes and meditating to get over Brand, it appears her new romance with Mayer could be leading to something more serious.
Perry reportedly has already given Mayer a key to her front door after just three months of dating.
Saving the best news until last, it seems us Aussie girls could be in luck.
Hollywood hunk Ryan Gosling, may be moving to Australia for several months if he ends up taking the lead role in forthcoming action packed film ‘Dust and Glory’, which will be produced in various locations around Australia.
Based on the famous 1950s Redex car race trials, the flick is about an American hotshot who faces off against an Aussie legend in a 16,000km car race around the country.
Sources close to the production say Gosling, who has already played a stunt driver in Drive and a motorbike specialist in The Place Beyond The Pines, is close to signing with the film.
Director Simon West told Confidential earlier this year: "I have a huge vision for this amazing 1950s character-driven Australian story,"
"I'm excited to go out and get a high-calibre cast for this movie" he added.
Here’s hoping Gosling inks the deal soon!
