Ricki-Lee Coulter brought the house down last night as she performed for Covergirl Cosmetics for the first time and Bon Jovi gets set to release his own fragrance with Avon.
Ricki-Lee Coulter is fast becoming Australia's brightest rising star. She took to the stage last night in front of an intimate crowd for Covergirl Cosmetics to show the beauty industry just why, "Covergirl Performs for Ricki-Lee and Ricki-Lee performs for Covergirl."
With an impressive lighting display and sound system Coulter performed two new track of her new album as well as the chart-topping single 'Do it Like That' much to the delight of the audience. Ricki-Lee donned a shimmering body-suit in Beyonce gold teamed with voluminous hair to match her incredible voice. After the performance the statuesque Rick-Lee entered the party in a stunning, black floor-length gown with shimmering gold sleeves and a vintage Chanel golden belt.
“Becoming a Covergirl marks a moment in my career I will never forget, " she told the Herad Sun.
"It’s been a huge year for me so far and set to get even bigger. Watch out Australia!"
Ricki-Lee’s Covergirl campaign will appear in stores from today and by the end of the week, her face will be seen in over 1000 stores nationally. Rick-Lee joins a respectable bunch of Covergirls including Taylor Swift, Drew Barrymore, Ellen Degeneres and Sophia Vergara.
Jon Bon Jovi is releasing two fragrances with Avon.
The rock star will release dual scents for both men and women titled Unplugged, and is set to appear in advertisements for both.
Jon admits he is delighted to be working for Avon because of their philanthropic efforts.
He said in a statement, "Avon, and the Avon Foundation for Women, have given support and a voice to those in need for decades. Their philosophy of empowerment sends a strong message and I'm pleased to partner them."
The fragrances will be inspired by "passion, soulfulness and intensity"; the men's version will have a woody note while the women's will be oriental.
Lily DeStefano, Vice President of Avon North America Beauty said the 50-year-old singer was the perfect person to have on board.
She said: "Jon's music and philanthropic work celebrate independence and optimism, two beautiful qualities that radiate from within. The Unplugged scents evoke an emotional connection - something Jon inspires in audiences around the world."
Unplugged for Her will be released in October, a month before Unplugged for Him.
