The 138th Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs in Louisville, USA brought out the celebrities and track-side fashions with attendees including, Ashton Kutcher, Kellan Lutz and Sharni Vinson, Ginnifer Goodwin, and Gisele Bundchun's husband, Tom Brady.
The horses and roses weren't the only famous attractions at the 138th Kentucky Derby at Churchill Downs in Louisville.
Actors, musicians and even Miss America, Laura Kaeppeler, strutted down the red carpet leading into the historic racetrack on Saturday. The Run for the Roses usually draws those looking to be seen.
Singer, Mary J Blige, dressed in scarlett performed the national anthem for the masses who donned hats and fascinators in every shape and size. There were all sorts of stylish hats at this year's event, ranging from the largest of large from Cyndi Lauper, to the floral numbers and everything in between.
Even the gentlemen got in on the action, with Ashton and Kellan Lutz both donning newsboy caps.
A crowd of 165,307, the largest in history, gathered on a beautiful day at Churchill Downs Racetrack. The on-track attendance erased the previous record of 164,858, set just last year. The record attendance prior to 2011 was the crowd of 163,628 who gathered for the 100th Kentucky Derby in 1974.
