The stakes are getting higher and the fashion more fierce! The brightest stars of film and television were out in full force as they graced the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles for the 18th Annual Screen Actor's Guild Awards. Viola Davis, Kate Winslet, Betty White and the cast of 'The Help' were some of the big winners on the night.
The biggest and brightest stars of film and television came together honor their peers at the 18th annual Screen Actors Guild Awards.
Christopher Plummer and Octavia Spencer took home the evening's first awards for supporting actor and actress, while Alec Baldwin, Kate Winslet, casts of Modern Family and The Help were among the others earned the big awards during the ceremony.
Betty White proved her comedic prowess to take out the award for actress in a comedy series, while Viola Davis gave an emotional acceptance speech to a stand ovation. Jean Dujardin once again beat out heavyweights Brad Pitt and George Clooney to win Best Actor in a leading role.
Mary Tyler Moore accepted the Lifetime Achievement Award from Dick Van Dyke midway through the show, taking the opportunity to explain why she chose to use her middle name to separate herself from the six other Mary Moore's already on SAG's roster in the early stages of her Hollywood career.
