RESCU and Alex Perry head to Canberra for good cause
25th OF September 2012
RESCU is proud to announce our very own fashion expert Alex Perry will be the MC at the Luton Charity Ball held in Canberra this October.
This year the Ball is New York themed and set to dazzle guests. The Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building and the spectacular lights of the New York skyline will welcome guests on arrival. And, of course, no New York themed event would be complete without a Sex and the City Cosmopolitan cocktail served from the Manhattan Island bar and Broadway show to entertain throughout the night.
Held annually, the Luton Charity Ball raises money for a selected charity each year and 2012 sees all money raised going straight to the support of the Cerebral Palsy Alliance.
Sadly every 15 hours an Australian child is born with Cerebral Palsy, a permanent disability that affects movement.
The Cerebral Palsy Alliance ACT provides services for these children and their families and has a professional team of therapists offering innovative approaches to support.
With 1 in 400 babies being diagnosed with the disability, the Cerebral Palsy Alliance ACT has their work cut out for them and unfortunately does not receive any government funding, solely relying on the support of donations and events such as the Luton Charity Ball.
If you would like to donate to the Cerebral Palsy Alliance you can visit their website www.cerebralpalsy.org.au
