ALWAYS trust your gut instincts! It&#x2019;s not your imagination; it&#x2019;s your inner self speaking to you.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;My clients often ask me how they can grow their own psychic abilities, and my first response is always the same, "start listening to your gut feeling about things". It&#x2019;s funny how often you hear yourself say, "I just had a funny feeling about it," and yet we continue to dismiss the inner voice that is speaking to us. Everyone has intuition and it is working for you right now behind the noise of your mind and the everyday chatter is where the answers your looking for are, the trick is learning how to quiet your mind to hear them.&#xA0;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;I make it sound so easy, right? Of course it takes practice, but it&#x2019;s well worth the effort to start trusting your gut instincts or your &#x2018;feelings&#x2019; about things. The trick is learning the difference between what is guidance and what is your minds input. Intuition happens before the mind has the time to jump in, so you have to be quick. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;For instance, you might have to make a decision about whether to leave your current job and yet you&#x2019;re not clear on whether it is the right time or not. You might not be getting a clear gut feeling on this one, so you want to see what your&#xA0;intuitive self has to say.&#xA0;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Sit quietly and meditate, even if briefly but enough to bring you into a place of stillness, focus on letting all the mind chatter drop away (I know, it&#x2019;s a big ask) and&#xA0;when you begin to feel like your mind is no longer busy, or when your feel a shift in your energy, focus on the question at hand" is it the right time to leave my job"? &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
There will be an instant Yes or No. Any second now your mind will dive in with all sorts of information that sounds something like this," Leave your job? Are you crazy? How are you going to do that? You don&#x2019;t even know what else you want to do, and you know you've got all those bills! No, NOT a good idea!&#x201D;&#xA0;Or your mind might swing the other way and be give you some really great reasons to leave, &#x201C;OMG you are SO above this job! You really should be running your own company. Leave, actually just resign now, effective this afternoon at 3pm, at which time you should take yourself off for a pedicure and a glass of&#xA0;champagne.&#x201D;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Yes, we all know that voice, and I don&#x2019;t mean to discredit the wonder of our minds, but when it comes to trusting your intuition, you have to separate the two.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;It is generally easier to read other people, so you can always practice with friends to fine tune your skills, and I know I keep harping on about it, but it really is important to write down your dreams as a lot of messages are sent to us via our subconscious minds as we sleep. In time you will see the pattern of your dreaming (unless you&#x2019;re getting obvious signs and, if so, lucky you) and be able to unravel what they are telling you.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Believe in your abilities, they are there, just waiting to grow.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

I started&#xA0;my first "Dream Journal"&#xA0;about 15 years ago after a friend suggested it to help me fine-tune my intuition. At first it was all upside down and all over the place, and I couldn&#x2019;t seem to find anything that made sense or helped me with my direction or intuition.&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;After a while I began to understand the meaning of certain symbols to me. I also bought myself a dream interpretation book and started to log&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span&gt;my dreams each morning.&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;After a while I started to feel&#xA0;more connected, more aware of what my intuition was telling me, and looking back through my journal I also&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span&gt;saw that a lot of what I had dreamed had happened in my life. I became addicted! I still am!!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;I am a firm believer in listening to your inner dream world. Learning to understand your own dream language is important, and I say that because&#xA0;everyone has a different&#xA0;personal&#xA0;interpretation for&#xA0;what something means to them.&#xA0;Yes, we do also incorporate everyday life into our dream world, so it can take a bit of practice to sift out what&#xA0;is&#xA0;intuitive and&#xA0;what is&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span&gt;our day-to-day mind chatter. Generally it&#x2019;s pretty obvious which is which, and you can tell a lot about what a dream means by the feeling it leaves&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span&gt;behind.&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;For those of you that have lost loved ones you might find that they take the opportunity to pop in while you&#x2019;re dreaming.&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span&gt;My Dad was a big part of my dreams for the first 10 or so years after he died, and he would bring me messages now and then that were helpful in&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span&gt;my day-to-day life. Without having gotten to know my dream world I may have missed this. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;There is also the chance to get clarity into situations&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span&gt;in your life that may not be working, or things you&#x2019;re missing though&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span&gt;dreams are&#xA0;not always about guidance or messages. Sometimes we are simply processing things, working through things in our subconscious that need to be released or dealt with, cleaning out the old stuff that&#x2019;s been stored away in our subconscious.&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;I think it&#x2019;s important to understand that we live between worlds, the practical realm&#xA0;and the spiritual realm; we need to keep them in balance&lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;, &lt;/span&gt;&lt;span&gt;so keep that in mind when doing dream work. Life is never all one way, it&#x2019;s about interweaving all the aspects together, that&#x2019;s how we find wholeness.&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Some people don&#x2019;t remember their dreams. This is quite common and doesn&#x2019;t mean you are not receiving guidance via your dreams, it just means you&#x2019;re processing yours differently. You may not need a lot of info because you&#x2019;re aware in your waking life of what you need to know or you&#x2019;re just not in the habit of remembering. A great way to start training your waking minds to retain your dreams is to write down anything you get as soon as you open your eyes - if you&#x2019;re anything like me you have to be quick!! My mind kicks in a few seconds after I wake up, so as soon as I come out of the dream I grab anything I can remember and write it down straight away.&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span&gt;Don&#x2019;t pressure yourself, relax, what you need will come to you, and it&#xA0;can take&#xA0;a bit of practice but you will get it.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Nothing has more power in your life than you do. Use dreams as your own inbuilt psychic, offering you guidance and information that you may be missing&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span&gt;in your day-to-day life. Listen to the feelings you are left with when you wake up, sometimes the energy of the dream stays&#xA0;with&#xA0;you the whole day.&#xA0;This is so because there is something important in the theme of what you dreamt, so enquire and see if you can unravel it. If you get stuck ask a friend, quite often things are clearer to someone outside yourself.&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;I suggest buying yourself a good dream dictionary, choose the one that "feels right", as there are many different meanings for dream symbols, at the&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span&gt;end of the day, it has to feel right to you.&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Know that you&#x2019;re on the right path, your life is unfolding exactly as it should. Don&#x2019;t forget the power of " asking for help".&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span&gt;Before you go to sleep surrender up what you need help or clarity with, ask your higher self to speak to you through your dreams, and then see what happens.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

Bad habits and bad behaviour can hold us back in life and cause issues with everything from our career to our relationships to our general happiness. Is it possible to change? How do we start making changes? Should we ask for help?&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;I&#x2019;m working on some of my own bad habits at the moment, and the first thing I've started doing is taking the word BAD out of them.&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span&gt;When we make something bad, doing it makes us feel guilty, and I find that if I feel guilty I&#x2019;m more inclined to keep the ball rolling&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span&gt;with negative behaviours. Giving power to the negative aspects of something is always going to make you feel worse, so instead of beating yourself up over it, be constructive, use it as an opportunity to find out more about yourself. Looking at the habit/behaviour from this point of view will give you more freedom to change it. &#xA0;&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;The first step is beginning to take notice of what sets off the habit/behaviour. We generally go there as a reaction to something so starting&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span&gt;to understand the triggers can give us the opportunity to change the reaction.&#xA0;&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Once you know what your triggers are you have more power about the way you will choose to handle them.&#xA0;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Now the tricky bit, how will you respond differently? It&#x2019;s fine to know you have to change your behaviour, but actually doing it?...help!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;I procrastinate. It&#x2019;s one of my habits, just ask the team here at RESCU how often Bella gets her blog in on time. Ok, I usually get there by deadline, but it&#x2019;s a habit of mine to leave it to the last minute, so instead of beating myself up about it, I can change the behaviour. So this means that next month, instead of leaving my blog till the last minute, I write it as soon as I get my brief and hey presto, I&#x2019;ve changed a habit! (I&#x2019;m going to be held accountable here!). &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;It&#x2019;s also really important to keep a sense of humour about it all, lighten up on yourself. The minute you can laugh about it you will start to feel how everything starts moving again and you don&#x2019;t feel so locked in or stuck. They are just behaviours, and yes they can be changed. It may take time, you might have been working at it for the long term, but you will see results, sooner or later you will. If you feel like you&#x2019;re not making headway, get help! I love therapy, I think it&#x2019;s one of the most self-loving things you can do, and at the end of the day none of us are perfect. Striving for perfection is exhausting, life isn&#x2019;t perfect, nature isn&#x2019;t perfect and that&#x2019;s where the beauty is. &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;So look at your habits and behaviours as teachers, that&#x2019;s all they are, helping you to become who you really want to be. If the habit worked for you, then you wouldn&#x2019;t know any better, so say "thanks" for showing you what you no longer want in your life. Some changes are big, you may need to take big leaps, remember that you&#x2019;re not alone, there is always help, but you have to ask and then trust. It&#x2019;s all in divine order, I promise!&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

I&#xA0;love this topic; it&#x2019;s something I have been working with myself the last few weeks. I&#x2019;ve been taking notice of when I jump on the gossip bandwagon, and why. In my search for an answer, here is what I have learned about why we gossip.&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;There is a deep need in all of us to connect. To be part of a community, whether it be your work environment, your social circle or your family, we all want to feel a bond within our lives.&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;Gossip is a way of having a connection and communication with others, it&#x2019;s a way of being "in the loop", even if it is mostly a negative action and therefore creates a negative re-action. When we speak about other people in a negative way we actually draw negativity towards ourselves, and in the process, affect that person on an energetic level also. We have all been on the receiving end of gossip at some point in our lives, and you would have noticed how drained and flat you feel knowing there is a shotgun of negative energy being fired at you. It doesn&#x2019;t feel good, and it stops all positive creative flow in its tracks, so why then do we continue the cycle?&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;Did I mention connection? No one really wants to be the odd one out, well actually some people do and I salute them for that!! But generally, we want to be a part of our own little tribe. So imagine that your circle is made of people who LOVE to gossip. Your part of the gang, so naturally you&#x2019;re onboard when the gossip game begins, even if it makes you feel like crap and you don&#x2019;t want to participate. Before you know it you&#x2019;re saying things, and all that energy is flowing out into the universe. What a shame it&#x2019;s not going to have a positive impact huh!&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;So, breaking the cycle, well, it&#x2019;s a challenge but by no means impossible. Look at it as your choice, because it is. In every moment we get to choose the words we speak and the thoughts we think, no one else is in charge, you&#x2019;re in the drivers seat. So, try some "Positive gossip", instead of finding fault or speaking negatively about people/situations. Find the positive aspect and speak about that. Yes, I know it sounds crazy, and yes you will most likely get some "looks" from your friends or the people around you. They are used to you being in the negative with them, so when you step out and shine the light of positivity, you&#x2019;re going to tread on a few toes, but persevere because not only are you in for the treat of feeling empowered and inspired by your action, your also going to have a wonderful impact on the other person or the situation. That&#x2019;s something to look forward to - you having an impact in the world is going to make you feel amazing.&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;Another way to deal with it is to put yourself on a "gossip free diet", it&#x2019;s kind of like weaning yourself off caffeine or sugar. At first it feels impossible to change the habit, but once you get in the swing of it you'll be Anthony Robbins before you know it!!!&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;And last but not least, think about the effect you&#x2019;re having on the planet, I know you would rather send good energy out than bad right?&#xA0;&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;We all have the power to make a difference. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;

Sometimes we are merrily heading down the wrong path in our lives, and perhaps not in tune with ourselves enough to notice this. I've often convinced myself that I was going the right way in my life, even though my gut feeling was saying otherwise, and before you know it you get tipped upside down and inside out by something - you suddenly get fired, your boyfriend tells you he's leaving or you fall out with your best friend. &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;First comes the shock, (how did this happen) then the rejection, (I cant believe someone would do this to me), and although it&#x2019;s uncomfortable,&#xA0;feel it, sit with it and acknowledge that it&#x2019;s painful to feel rejected, because it is, but know that the longer you hang onto it, the less chance you have of seeing the positives of the experience and moving forward. Think back over the situation that ended and I guarantee you will have been unhappy at some point along the way, (or maybe the whole way!!) at which time you would have been sending out thoughts to the universe with the heading "I&#x2019;m not happy with this!!!&#x201D;. So you were offered a helping hand, the way it arrived probably felt like crap and shocked the pants right off you, it most likely has damaged your trust or bruised your ego, perhaps all of these things, but keep in mind, something wasn&#x2019;t working, either for you or the other person. Although it&#x2019;s painful and difficult to face up to this, it&#x2019;s a quicker way to find some resolution within yourself. We all want to blame someone or something else, and sometimes it isn&#x2019;t our fault, but at the end of the day the only way to feel better as soon as possible is to re-empower yourself by seeing the lesson in the experience and using it as an opportunity to realign within yourself, and step back onto your own path. Ask yourself honestly, &#x201C;Were really getting everything you wanted from the situation?&#x201D;,&#xA0;chances are you weren&#x2019;t!&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Think about the ways in which this change will offer you new opportunities to have new experiences, see it as a blessing in disguise (because a bit further down the line you will see that it really is!!) and focus on what&#x2019;s before you instead of staying stuck with what happened. Sometimes there are no answers for why things end, they just do, and staying in the cycle of thinking about why it happened will drain your energy and block you from being open to other doors that will open around you. Speak and think positively about yourself, you are not your ego, and though it may have been dented, it will recover. TRUST that what has left your life will be replaced with something better. If you&#x2019;re really stuck, see a Healer/Therapist/ Counselor, there is always help available. Remind yourself that although what happened was out of your control, getting back on track is completely within your control. Use whatever techniques you can to remind yourself on a daily basis that&#xA0;you&#x2019;re powerful, and you WILL come back from this, bigger and better than ever.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

We've all been there before, trying our best to get some acknowledgment for a job well done, looking for approval from our bosses and superiors. Sometimes it feels like you&#x2019;re invisible to the people you are trying to impress, or when you get the chance to shine your light and prove yourself, you suddenly find your staring into space and can&#x2019;t remember your name. So what are some more constructive ways of getting noticed for our brilliance in the workplace?&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Well, first and foremost, know that you and your ideas and opinions matter! It may feel like you are often overlooked, which can lead to a feeling of inferiority, BUT, you&#x2019;re there for a reason, and though you may not be running the company (yet), you have a lot to offer your boss and those around you.&lt;/span&gt;&#xA0;&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Get clear about your goals and desires in your current role, are you enjoying yourself? If you dislike what you&#x2019;re doing, then you&#x2019;re swimming against the current&#xA0;of your life, so trying to get ahead will be a constant uphill and un-enjoyable battle. Change the things that aren&#x2019;t working for you by trying a new approach, think positively about your boss and superiors, see yourself being acknowledged for your input, see yourself from the perspective of achievement instead of failure. Sure you might have been overlooked a few times, welcome to reality, it&#x2019;s happened to everyone at some point in their life, the trick is what &lt;em&gt;you&lt;/em&gt; do with it. You have the choice to learn from it and fuel your fire for next time. Study the people around you that you consider "successful", take notice of how they operate, note the qualities they possess that make them stand out to you, look at how you can utilise some of these qualities within yourself - you do have, them I promise! Yours may look different, but they do exist.&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Think about what you bring to your workplace, to your boss and superiors and know that everyday you&#x2019;re making a difference. Get confident about your abilities, know your strengths and weaknesses and work with them, not against them.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Last but not least, find a way to enjoy yourself, It&#x2019;s a priority and happy people get noticed!! Make a list of 5 things you enjoy about your work and when the going gets tough, refer to your list.&#xA0;&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

Moving House? Before you get settled into your new home, here are some hints on clearing out &lt;span&gt;what&#x2019;s been left behind.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Living spaces hold energy; you would have felt this at some point when going into a space and "feeling"&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span&gt;a lightness or at times a heaviness. It&#x2019;s not your imagination, it is your intuition telling you something&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span&gt;about the environment you&#x2019;re in, and it&#x2019;s safe to say that your first " feeling " is generally right. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;When I move into a new home I always do a clearing ritual to remove any energy left there from previously, I find this can also really help you to feel "settled" in your new space.&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;You will need a smudge stick and a space clearing spray, you can buy one or make your&#xA0;own. I like to make my own, and for this particular ritual I use a mix of 3 of the following:&#xA0;rosemary, frankincense,&#xA0;sandalwood, lavender or peppermint.&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span&gt;Mix in a base of purified water with a dash of vodka to break down the oils.&#xA0;I also like to put a small crystal in the bottle, I generally use rose or clear quartz.&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;Start outside the house at the front door, preferably before you have moved your furniture in.&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span&gt;Use the space clearing spray first.&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span&gt;Begin with a prayer of protection for the new space. Ask that any energy from before you be&#xA0;cleared away and that the space be purified. Go through the whole house and into each room spraying&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span&gt;as you go.&#xA0;Then repeat this process with the sage stick, be sure to get into all the corners as this is&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span&gt;where energy tends to sit, and keep repeating your prayer until you&#x2019;re done.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;When you feel you have completed the clearing, light a white candle&#xA0;and ask that your home be blessed and&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span&gt;filled with love, happiness and abundance.&#xA0;&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;span&gt;If you find down the track that you&#x2019;re feeling a bit stagnant or stuck in your&lt;/span&gt; &lt;span&gt;environment,&#xA0;just redo your clearing ritual. This ritual is also great for your work space, or for clearing negative energy&#xA0;you may experience with people you work with.&lt;/span&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

This may look easier for other people, but&#xA0;you can guarantee there are things about you and your life that those people also admire. That&#x2019;s the thing, if we&#xA0;approach it from a place of inspiration (I can create&#xA0;what I want)&#xA0;instead of judgement (I&#x2019;m a failure), it becomes a lot easier&#xA0;to get where you want to&#xA0;go. &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

Stop making yourself a victim, you&#x2019;re not, you have infinite power and whether it&#x2019;s 10 kilos you want to lose, or a house you want to buy, there are ways&#xA0;for you to get&#xA0;there. Create a vision board or a "Success&#xA0;Journal". Invite the magic of change into your life by turning your attention to all the ways that you can work towards what you want.&#xA0;Use visualisation, imagine yourself buying that house, or picture yourself in your dream job.&#xA0;Meditate and get in tune with yourself, there are always answers when we quiet our minds.&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p style="margin: 0.1pt 0cm;"&gt; &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p style="margin: 0.1pt 0cm;"&gt;&#xA0;&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p style="margin: 0.1pt 0cm;"&gt;The next step is to speak about your successes as if they are already happening and bring them into the now. Often we put what&#xA0;we want out there somewhere, but it&#x2019;s important to remember that&#xA0;the wheel of life can turn quickly, so the more mental energy you are giving to what you want, the less space for any negative self talk to get in your way.&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;

Perhaps you're between jobs and all your friends are at work. Maybe all your friends have babies and you don't. Perhaps everyone seems to have a boyfriend or a husband and you're single. How do you cope with being alone, when you feel like the 'odd one out'? &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
'Table for one please' . . . have you ever tried it? A friend of mine was recently telling me how much she loves dining alone in restaurants, how she loves to take that time for herself, to enjoy the space of being alone doing something she thoroughly enjoys. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
I love that. It is an empowering act, especially to those who feel frozen with fear by the very idea of going anywhere alone. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
This brings us to the topic of 'alone'. What is it that makes us feel like the odd one out if we are in a different place to those around us? &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
Why do we suddenly feel a sense of disconnection if we are treading a different path? Or more importantly, WHY do we judge ourselves as the 'odd one out'? &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
I believe it comes back to the kind of relationship you are having with yourself. If you love your own company chances are you will be at ease with being 'the odd one out' or dining by yourself. If you are judging yourself and your life compared to other people around you, then yes, you're going to shrink back and feel unworthy. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
No-one can do your life better than you! If you are feeling disconnected look at why and in what area of your life that is happening. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
Ask yourself honestly what it is that you want in order to feel connected with your own dreams again, then move towards what that is. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
Take some time today to give yourself credit for where you are. It may be a very different place to your friends and family, but it is your path, where you are meant to be in your life right now. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
I think Dr Seuss had it right when he said 'Today you are you, that is truer than true, there is no-one alive who is you-er than you'. . . which makes us all unique, and wonderful. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;

What can you learn from missing a loved one? When you see someone everyday or have been around them for a long time, it Is easy to get complacent about having them in your life. &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
But imagine if they were gone? What would you miss about them? Coping with loss is a great reminder of the wonderful things that the person brings to your world and most of the time these things become apparent when they are absent from our lives. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
You know how it goes: you go away for a few weeks and all of a sudden realise that the things you found annoying about your best friend/ partner/ brother are some of the very things you miss and appreciate about them. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
Strange but true - you 'realise what you have when it is gone'! &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
Feelings of loss are a great way to learn to be grateful for what we have right here, right now. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
Death is a bit of a different story as we cant bring people back. We can however honour their place in our lives by doing everything we can to move forward. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
Acknowledging that we miss people gives us personal power. It is honest to feel your feelings. It is the quickest way to get where you want to go. Being away from our &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
'comfort people' gives us an opportunity to grow and get to know who we are! &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
It is an opportunity for you to witness the things about yourself that people love, the qualities that make you, you! &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
And you are loved, by your friends and family, the people around you, If you weren&#x2019;t here, you would be missed. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;

It&#x2019;s the time of year when people start thinking about their New Year goals and what they&#x2019;ve achieved in the past year. Bella Gill has a New Year Resolutions Ritual for closing 2010 - and sticking to your 2011 New Year resolutions! &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
Here we stand at the closing of another year. Hopefully you have created and manifested some wonderful things for yourself. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
If not, now is the time to think about what you would like to bring into your life. Here is a New Year&#x2019;s Ritual to get you on your way. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
You will need : &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&#x2022; A clear quartz crystal. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&#x2022; A white candle. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&#x2022; 1 piece of paper. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
This is best done on New Years Eve, between 12 pm and 12am. Sit quietly and think about what you would like to let go of or no longer want in your life. Imagine it disappearing with the closing of the year. Then think about what you would like to bring into your life with the New Year, and write this down on your piece of paper. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
Hold the crystal in your left hand while looking at the candle and say a prayer or affirmation of gratitude for your life, and everything in it. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
Place the crystal on the piece of paper and blow out the candle. Light the candle every night for 7 days and read out what is on your list. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
Share your abundance this festive season. A great way of feeling wonderful within yourself is to do something for someone in need. As for the resolutions you make, find something you feel inspired instead of forced to do. This way, it&#x2019;s an adventure, not a chore. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;

When everything seems to be going wrong in every possible way, you can need a bit of help to power through. This month, we asked for notes from Bella Gill on how to transform bad luck into good change. &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
First tip: change the way you&#x2019;re thinking about the &#x2018;bad&#x2019; phase! &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
Maybe this is life&#x2019;s way of emptying out what you no longer need. In order for you to let go, you have to feel really uncomfortable for a while. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
Don&#x2019;t use this phase as a reason to give up. Take up the challenge. It&#x2019;s worth it, and you&#x2019;re taking steps towards what you really want. That&#x2019;s exciting, and takes courage. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
Sometimes life takes us down Wrong Street. It happens to everyone! The trick is not to fall into expecting things to fail. Don&#x2019;t get caught up in a &#x2018;Woe is me, nothing ever works out&#x2019; attitude. This way of thinking WILL take away your power to turn things around. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
You&#x2019;ve written your lists, focused your energy on what you want to create, dealt with your own baggage, and opened the door to the new. Still, you feel like you&#x2019;re caught in a phase that just won&#x2019;t pass. What do you do now? &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
The first step is to confront and let go of your fear/ negativity. Know that all you need to do is keep going. Keep moving towards your goals. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
Change isn&#x2019;t always instant. We have to keep at it. When you decide to move things around in your life, it can take time to see results. Along the way, it can feel like everything is actually getting worse, and sometimes it does &#x2013; but this is what needs to happen to make way for the new. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
Trust in the process. Detours happen, and a lot of the time they are necessary. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
You WILL progress! Use your intuition, and listen to the feelings and ideas you&#x2019;re getting about things. There is always help when it comes to turning the wrongs into rights. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;

Do you have a fear of flying, a public speaking phobia, or something else that turns you into a bundle of nerves? This month, we asked Bella Gill how we can turn fear into something more positive.&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
Do you run from your fears, or face up to them? &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
In most cases, when we look fear right in the eye, it loses its power. And when we act on the things we are afraid of, they also lose their power over us and our lives. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
To be free of fear, we have no choice but to face it. Easier said than done for most of us, if you&#x2019;re afraid of heights, chances are you&#x2019;re not to keen on the idea of climbing to the top of the Sydney Harbour Bridge to get yourself over it! &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
BUT, that is the mindset we have to adopt to banish over our fears. Start out small with confronting it, and keep in mind that the more energy we give to something the more it grows. If you are constantly telling yourself and others that you have a &#x201C;fear of commitment&#x201D;, then the message you&#x2019;re sending out to the universe is Fear + Commitment. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
Try a different approach, instead of focusing on the fear, focus on a positive aspect of it, such as &#x201C;I&#x2019;m feeling more at ease with commitment&#x201D;, this will make you feel better and also send out a more positive message: ease + commitment. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
Another practical way of confronting our fears is to practise them. If you&#x2019;re afraid of public speaking, do a course in public speaking, or read a speech in front of friends or family, this will empower you, which in turn will take the &#x201C;fear&#x201D; out of It and leave you feeling very happy with yourself. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
If you find your fears overwhelm you, find a good therapist and work on them. You&#x2019;re worthy of the life you imagine, so get those fears out of the way and go get it! &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;

How about a "Spring clean ritual" to get things moving.  &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
1. Start by identifying what your plans/goals are for this season, write them down on a piece of paper, next , literally " spring clean" your house/space, as you&#x2019;re doing this visualise all the old energy leaving your space, and new energy coming in. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;strong&gt;Top tip:&lt;/strong&gt; It&#x2019;s also really helpful if you can move some furniture around. You may want to look up some Feng Shui tips here too. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
2. Next, place your piece of paper by your bed with a citrine crystal on it. And each night before you go to sleep, see yourself doing and achieving what is on your list, follow that up with some directed action and you have yourself a spring plan!! &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;

Thankfully, Bella Gill reveals some ways to think more positive despite&#xA0;the chill&#xA0;outside. &lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;Winter sets in and you start to feel a nagging anxiety about where you are, or where you&#x2019;re not! &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
The negatives start to set in, and all the wonderful intentions you&#x2019;re yet to fulfil start to tap you on the shoulder, and all you really want to do is escape to happy land under a cosy doona. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
Winter is a time of going within, like an animal goes into hibernation. It is the season of contemplation, regeneration and rest. Our minds and bodies react to the change in weather by slowing down, and requiring more food and sleep. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
In a lot of ritual practices, winter is the time for allowing the seeds (intentions) you have planted be nurtured by the earth. At times, it feels like everything has come to a grinding halt, we start to really question whether we are on the right track at all because we are not seeing any results, this can give us a feeling of the &#x201C;Winter Heavies&#x201D;. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
A wonderful way to align with your positive outlook again is to set yourself a Winter Ritual: &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
1. Imagine your own seed of intention, what dreams and desires you have planted? &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
2. Focus on them being taken care of by all those that are working with you in Spirit. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
3. Then bring your attention back to the positive aspects of your life in this moment. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
Use these months of Winter for regenerating within through meditation and stillness. Nature has divine wisdom, follow her lead. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;

Can positive thinking really turn our lives around? We asked Bella Gill to reveal some easy ways to turn a bad run into something more positive.&#xA0;&lt;/p&gt;&#xD;
&lt;p&gt;I love this month&#x2019;s topic. It&#x2019;s very fitting for me, personally and professionally. It seems that &#x2018;stuckness&#x2019; has been in the air, and a lot of people have been experiencing a sense of difficulty in moving ahead. It&#x2019;s like a great big stop sign has appeared in our lives overnight, but what can we do about it? &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
Positive thinking has amazing benefits, especially when things seem to be flowing backwards in your life, but it&#x2019;s not always as easy as that when you feel like it&#x2019;s all coming down on top of you at rapid speed and you can&#x2019;t see a way out? &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
First of all, remember that &#x201C;this shall pass&#x201D;, yep, that&#x2019;s right, you will get to the other side, also keep in mind that sometimes to know what we &#x201C;Do&#x201D; want , we have to experience what we &#x201C;DON&#x2019;T&#x201D; want. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
Here are some ways to get yourself back on track: &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;strong&gt;Do a mini clearing on yourself.&lt;/strong&gt; &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
1. Pour a cup of seasalt into a bath, add some essential oils of rosemary or sandalwood, write down or imagine what you want to clear out of your life, or what is stressing you, getting you down, etc. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
2. Visualise it being cleansed off you by the water, when you get out of the bath. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
3. Imagine the water carrying away what you have cleared, and then re-focus your attention on what you now wish to create or experience. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
4. If you don&#x2019;t have a bath, you can do the same ritual in the shower, use the salt to scrub your skin instead. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
See a healer/counsellor/ therapist, get some guidance on your situation. Sometimes seeing a different perspective is all we need to get our inspiration and direction back. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
Believe in yourself, know you&#x2019;re on the right track, remember the things about yourself that you love, focus on those! The wheels may be wobbly, but keep peddling, you WILL get there. &lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
&lt;br clear="none" /&gt;&#xD;
